As vice president of editorial and business development, Monique works across the editorial and business teams to support strategy, partnerships and audience growth. Before joining The Banner, Monique spent more than eight years at ESPN, where she held senior editorial roles, including managing editor and deputy editor. Her career spans national and regional news organizations including USA Today, The Baltimore Sun, The Boston Globe, The Dallas Morning News and the Pensacola (Fla.) News Journal Monique was a 2025 Sulzberger Executive Leadership Fellow at Columbia University and serves on the advisory council for the University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications.
