Sarah Walton

Sarah Walton brings more than two decades of experience in philanthropy and nonprofit leadership. Since joining The Baltimore Banner in 2023, she has helped significantly expand philanthropic support for the organization, growing both the number of donors and total contributions by 67 percent. Previously, Sarah led fundraising, marketing, and communications at Calvert School. She also held senior development and executive leadership roles at the Maryland SPCA and the Walters Art Museum. Earlier in her career, she worked in Washington, D.C., in advocacy, public affairs, and government. Sarah holds a degree in political science from the University of Missouri–Columbia.
